Total meat production in Brazil – beef, pork, and chicken – is expected to reach 31.57 million tons in 2025, practically repeating the record level registered in the previous year, when the country produced 31.58 million tons. The estimate was released this Friday (13th) by the National Supply Company (Conab) and reflects mainly the increase in pork and poultry production. According to Conab's analysis, pork leads the sector's growth and should reach a new production record of 5.56 million tons in 2025 — a 4.4% increase compared to last year. According to Gabriel Rabello, Conab's Basic Foods and Fibers manager, the positive performance is driven by the expansion of international markets and the diversification of cuts for the domestic market. With this growth, pork exports should reach 1.45 million tons, a 9.7% increase compared to 2024.
