After growing 46% in February and, on average, exceeding 20% in the first 7 months of the year, compared to the same period of the previous year, total beef exports (in natura plus processed) slowed down for the second month in a row and rose 6.25% in July. Product revenues, which accompany the rise in raw materials abroad, contributed foreign exchange for US$1,231 million in July 2022, an increase of 21.8% compared to July 2021, which was US$1,010 million. The information is from the Brazilian Association of Refrigerators (Abrafrigo), which compiled data from the Ministry of Foreign Trade (Secex), of the Ministry of Finance. So far this year, Abrafigo reported that, until July, total beef exports reached 1,293,071 tons compared to 1,071,772 tons last year, in the same period, with an increase of 20.65%.
