Bulgarian farmers gain experience in plant protection from Turkey

In recent years, fusarium wilt, caused by fungal pathogens of the genus Fusarium, has become increasingly common in Bulgaria and has established itself as one of the harmful diseases affecting wheat. It can lead to a significant reduction in yields, but also to compromise the quality of the product. All this leads to economic losses for agricultural holdings. In response to these challenges and in connection with the underestimation of the problem by the professional community in Bulgaria, Bayer CropScience conducted a professional trip for leading agricultural producers to Turkey, where it presented good practices and methods for controlling fusarium wilt in wheat.
