By the end of March, Russian fishermen increased their catch rate by 12% to 1.37 million tons

In the Far East fishery basin, the total catch amounted to 1.09 million tons, which is 13.5% more than last year. The pollock fishery produced 871.8 thousand tons, which is 122.3 thousand tons more. Cod catch increased by 2.8 thousand tons - up to 44.1 thousand tons, herring - by 4.9 thousand tons, up to 110.4 thousand tons, flounder - by 2 thousand tons, up to 17 thousand tons . In the Northern fishery basin, the catch reached 120.3 thousand tons. Cod produced 67 thousand tons, haddock - 22.8 thousand tons, capelin - 23.1 thousand tons.
