Within five months of initiating meat exports to Canada, Paraguay has managed to rank among the top 10 buyers, with purchases amounting to 4,677 tons valued at US$ 21.5 million. The average price per ton was US$ 4,616. Following a nearly three-and-a-half-year negotiation period, the Canadian market's opening for Paraguayan meat has surpassed export expectations to Canada. From January to October, Paraguay's meat exports were significant, reaching 287,943 tons and generating revenue of US$ 1.415 billion. The exports were distributed to 50 countries, with Chile, Taiwan, Brazil, Israel, and the United States being the primary recipients.
