Cassava/Cepea: Weekly average reaches lowest level since November/22 in Brazil

Cassava root prices retreated for another week and reached the lowest level since November last year. According to information from Cepea, the decline is still linked to the greater interest of producers in marketing, despite the rains. The average weekly forward price of a ton of cassava starch was R$ 1,144.73 (R$ 1.9908 per gram of starch) in the last week, a decrease of 2.3% compared to the previous one. The low accumulated in the last four weeks is 4.8%.
