The Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat de Catalunya has opened an exceptional temporary aid line endowed with 11.73 million euros for agri-food SMEs affected by the consequences of the war in Ukraine. Specifically, the Action is specifically targeted at the non-integrated pig sector, the turkey, quail, partridge and duck production sector, and agri-food industries with less than 50 workers, in order to help alleviate the crisis resulting from the increase in energy costs and the price of animal feed as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The application period for this temporary aid line will close on January 11.
