Despite the cold and protracted spring, the cherry sales season in Ukraine started without delay. According to the daily monitoring data of the EastFruit project, the first wholesale batches of early cherries from Ukrainian farms have already appeared on the market. Today, cherries are sold exclusively in small wholesale at prices of UAH 60-85/kg ($1.64-2.32/kg), which actually corresponds to the prices for these stone fruits at the beginning of the season last year.
