With a production of 587 thousand 068.68 tons, the Chiapas entity leads the manufacturing of this tropical fruit, ahead of states such as Tabasco with 537 thousand 193.29 tons and Veracruz with 253 thousand 634.54 tons of banana. Further back is Colima with 185 thousand 003.09 tons, the state of Michoacán with 148 thousand 960.87 tons, Jalisco with 142 thousand 866.51 tons and Guerrero with 77 thousand 992.48 tons of banana.
