In the last 2 weeks, Chinese importers have concluded contracts for the import of large quantities of corn from Ukraine, the electronic publication APK-Inform reported, citing trade sources. Although they cannot specify the exact quantities, some of them, mainly from European trading circles, estimate them at 500 thousand to 1 million tons with delivery from October to December. Singaporean traders estimate quantities of 10-12 Panamax vessels (up to 60,000 tonnes) with delivery in November and December.
