Conditions of soybean crops in the USA show improvement

The United States soybean crop showed a slight improvement in quality in the last week of September, according to a report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). However, the corn remained in the same condition as the previous week. According to the USDA, 62% of soybean crops were in good or excellent condition as of September 28, one percentage point higher than the previous week. In the same period of 2024, this index was 64%. The monitoring also showed that 79% of the crops had leaf drop, a percentage equal to last year and above the historical average of 77%. The harvest reached 19% of the area, below the 24% recorded in 2024 and slightly below the five-year average of 20%.
