Construction of the new grain terminal in Dagestan will be completed ahead of schedule

The handling capacity of the terminal will increase to 1.5 million tons of grain per year. The new grain terminal at the Makhachkala Sea Trade Port (MST Port) will be launched ahead of schedule. This is reported by TASS, citing the CEO of MST Port, Jamal Aliyev. According to him, the first phase will be completed as early as 2026, with the terminal fully operational by 2028. "We have a development strategy approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, and a shareholder agreement under which we must carry out certain activities. Among them, the main one is the construction of a grain terminal, which will be the largest among all the Caspian region countries. It will handle 1.5 million tons of grain per year, with a single-time storage capacity of about 100,000 tons. We will complete it ahead of schedule," he said.
