The National Institute of Quality (Inacal) represented Peru in key spaces of the COP30, providing technical evidence and contributing to the international debate on the strategic role of technical standards and Quality Infrastructure to accelerate climate action, strengthen transparency, and support the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), in line with the country's climate commitments. The COP30, held from November 6 to 21 in Belém (Brazil), brought together representatives from around the world to evaluate progress in climate mitigation, adaptation, and financing, and to reinforce the mechanisms necessary to limit global warming to 1.5 °C in accordance with the Paris Agreement.
