Brazil: Corn futures quotes open this Tuesday's session with gains in the US

Corn futures started the session this Tuesday (21) with gains on the Chicago Stock Exchange (CBOT). Around 9:14 am (Brasília time), the main contracts were working with valuation between 2.75 to 4.25 points.
The May/23 contract was up 4.25 points and quoted at US$ 6.37 per bushel, while the July/23 contract was worth US$ 6.19 per bushel, with an appreciation of 3.75 points. The September/23 was traded at US$ 5.70 per bushel with an advance of 3.00 points and the December/23 was worth US$ 5.62 per bushel and was up 2.75 points. According to information from Successful Farming, the market is following the progress of planting in Brazil against the drop in expectations for the crop in Argentina. Already Reuters International highlighted that Russia set conditions on Monday (20) to agree to any further extension of the Black Sea grain deal, and President Vladimir Putin said Moscow could send grain free of charge to African countries if those conditions were not fulfilled.
