Brazil: Corn moves little this Friday and accumulates weekly devaluation

Friday (22) comes to an end with corn futures prices moving little on the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3). The main prices fluctuated in the range between R$56.90 and R$64.70, but accumulated devaluations throughout the week. The November/23 maturity was quoted at R$ 56.90 with an increase of 0.30%, January/24 was worth R$ 61.05 with an increase of 0.35%, March/24 was traded for R$ 65, 00 with a gain of 0.08% and May/24 had a value of R$ 64.70 with a drop of 0.38%. On a weekly basis, Brazilian cereal contracts registered devaluations of 2.18% for November/23, 1.42% for January/24, 1.59% for March/24 and 2.04% for May/24, in relation to the closing of last Friday (15). In the Brazilian physical market, the price of a bag of corn had a positive last day of the week. The survey carried out by the Notícias Agrícolas team found devaluations only in Sorriso/MT and Porto de Santos/SP.
