Oilseed prices fell on global stock exchanges

Strong drops in crude oil prices on world stock exchanges (by about 10% in the first two sessions in the new year) translated into drops in prices of oilseeds. Rapeseed for February delivery on the Paris Stock Exchange fell 0.9 percent yesterday. and amounted to EUR 589.50/t (PLN 2,752/t) and were 25.2 percent lower than the year before. Canada's canola fell 0.3 percent on the Winnipeg Stock Exchange yesterday. and cost CAD 861.60/t, and over the last year the price fell by 17.4 percent. US soybeans fell 0.6% yesterday. to USD 543.15/t. Over the last twelve months, the price of soybeans has increased by 7.2 percent. Matif rape, February contract - the price fell by 0.88%.
