In the case of open-air pepper, the reduction of occupied fields is about 21%, and so far they have reached about 1.5 thousand ha. The Ministry of Agriculture notes that at the beginning of June 2022 the open areas planted with potatoes and strawberries were respectively 2.2% and 5.9% higher than last year, and in cabbage the increase reached 67%.
