Agricultural enterprises in Vinnytsia region, Ukraine, are planning to increase the cultivation of potatoes by twice and vegetables by 20% this year. The vegetable crop growth has surged by 2.5 times compared to the pre-war period, a trend that continues. By the 2025 harvest, vegetables and potatoes are expected to occupy 8% of the total crop area across all types of farms. The majority of the vegetable and potato cultivation (99%) is done by households, with a small fraction (300 hectares for vegetables, 320 hectares for potatoes) dedicated to industrial cultivation.
