The purpose of the subsidy is to contribute to ensuring production conditions and thereby to the continuous maintenance of food safety and the management of market imbalances by partially compensating the exceptionally high production costs currently affecting the poultry sector. The poultry sector can use a total of about HUF 4.2 billion, of which HUF 500 million can be used for additional support for ducks and domestic geese.
