Vietnam: Farmers in the flooded area of Duc Tho return to the fields to restore winter vegetable production

After the flood, Bui La Nhan commune (Duc Tho, Ha Tinh) has returned to normal life. Taking advantage of favorable weather, farmers excitedly went out to work on land and produce winter vegetables.
In the winter crop of 2022, Bui La Nhan commune strives to produce 80 hectares of winter crops, of which mainly in Duc La Cooperative 50 hectares, the rest is mainly produced in household gardens. The main crops are high-quality short-day maize varieties for corn such as: HN66, HN88; varieties of red corn for seeds, as feed for livestock, and about 20 hectares of vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, ...
