Korean and Japanese agricultural newspapers, led by Kim Jeong-sik of the Farmers’ Newspaper and Tamiya Kazushiro of the Japan Agricultural Newspaper, have entered into a business agreement aimed at addressing the shared challenges of agricultural aging, labor shortages, rising production costs, and climate change in their sectors. This partnership, marked by an MOU signing in Tokyo, focuses on article exchanges, personnel exchanges, and strengthening agricultural and rural development cooperation. The companies will also explore the use of 4th industrial revolution technologies in agriculture, improve the hometown donation system, and host symposiums to deepen their long-standing collaborative relationship, which dates back to 1984.
