The Argentine Ministry of Productive Development and the National Bank have announced a new financing line for small agricultural producers, providing 500 million pesos. The credits, subsidized by the National Productive Development Fund, will have a 21% annual interest rate and can be used for capital and investment. The loan range is from 882,000 to 3.0 million pesos, with repayment terms up to 60 months and a six-month grace period. To be eligible, producers must have a MiPYME Certificate, be registered in the National Sanitary Registry of Agricultural Producers, and be engaged in specific agricultural activities. This initiative is part of a larger program aimed at diversifying product supply in large supermarkets through training, technical assistance, and financing for micro, small, and medium-sized companies, excluding certain cereal and oilseed producers.
