Financing €5,650 million for short supply chain projects

High interest concluded the submission process for the intervention "Cooperation for Short Supply Chains" from the Strategic Development Plan for Agriculture and Rural Areas of the Republic of Bulgaria 2023-2027, announced the press office of the Ministry of Agriculture. A total of 27 applications for support were submitted by recognized producer groups and organizations, as well as other associations of agricultural producers. These applications requested financial aid amounting to over 5,650 million euros, against a set budget for acceptance of 9.5 million euros. It is expected that 444 registered agricultural producers will collaborate on the submitted projects, offering fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, meat, and bee products directly to the market without intermediaries.
