To saturate the consumer market with products from aquatic biological resources at affordable prices in the Sakhalin Region, the Sakhalin Regional Fisheries Agency creates additional conditions for direct interaction of fishing enterprises and retail trade enterprises with the assistance of municipalities and relevant ministries. Currently, 265 organizations are taking part in the project, including 67 fishery enterprises from 15 municipalities. The role of a wholesale distribution center is played by Promyshlenniy Kholod LLC, which has refrigeration facilities for storing and completing products, and further supplying them to the retail network. The list of fish and fish products within the framework of the Project includes 8 types of frozen fish: pink salmon, navaga, flounder, pollock, cod, herring, greenling, smelt and canned fish and seafood.
