The apricot campaign has started with the Pricia variety for Italian production. The one of Sicilian and Lazio watermelons is also starting. The demand for cherries and melons penalized by the climate does not take off. The marketing of strawberries begins. First batches of the percoca and platicarpa varieties, but the Italian product is expected for peaches and nectarines. The demand for tomatoes is high, new productions are about to start in other regions, besides Sicily.
