Extensive multidisciplinary work was completed by the Office of Agrarian Studies and Policies (Odepa) and the Natural Resources Information Center (Ciren) with the publication of the 2022 Fruit Cadastre for the regions of Arica and Parinacota, Tarapacá, Maule, Ñuble, Biobío, La Araucanía, Los Ríos, Los Lagos and Aysén, covering a total of 141,467 hectares, equivalent to 37.7% of the national fruit area. The Fruit Cadastre consists of a detailed x-ray of the item carried out by Ciren, mandated by Odepa. The work to obtain information is divided into three stages: territorial survey, analysis and publication.
