The Agroexport Center of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture forecasts a significant increase in the country's agricultural exports by 2030. Wheat exports are projected to reach 56.9 million tons, and total grain exports are expected to rise to 75 million tons. Leguminous crop exports, including peas, are also anticipated to grow to 4.8 million tons. In the 2023/24 agricultural year, Russia ranked among the top five grain exporters globally, with a record harvest of grain and leguminous crops. The demand for leguminous crops, particularly peas, has surged due to increased demand from China and India, with exports exceeding 1.5 million tons in the first eight months of the year, marking a 35% increase.
