Since the launch of the Grain Initiative, 44 vessels have exported 1 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products to this African country. Egypt is the most populous country among Arab states and the third most populous in Africa. As Egypt is experiencing a financial crisis, the country is dependent on systematic grain supplies and stable prices. The Grain Initiative, which has been working systematically, can meet these needs. At the last tender, Egypt purchased another new batch of Ukrainian wheat amounting to 120 thousand tons. It will be shipped next month. Ukraine continues to be a guarantor of food security for the whole world. The international community could have received more Ukrainian agricultural products if the Russians had not deliberately slowed down inspections of ships in the Bosphorus.
