In the evening of March 19, the bulk carrier NEGMAR CICEK, which will transport 30,000 tons of wheat to Yemen, was moored in the port of Chornomorsk, and as of 8:00 a.m. on March 20, 7,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat was loaded onto it. This is the sixth ship as part of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program, and the 4th ship in total heading to Yemen. During the period of the grain initiative, Yemen received more than 200,000 tons of humanitarian wheat from Ukraine. More than 30 countries and institutions have already joined the program, which is implemented with the support of the UN World Food Program. In particular, the provision of humanitarian wheat for Yemen was made possible thanks to donations from the governments of the USA, France and Spain.
