On the wheat side, offers remained unchanged at US$300/t for the available cereal, the same value offered for delivery between November and January 2023. As for corn, US$230/t was openly offered for the merchandise with immediate download. Then, for available soybeans and for fixings, the offers did not experience changes and remained at $63,000/t. In today's session, futures in the Chicago market finished with gains. Wheat contracts ended higher on the back of signs of a possible war escalation between Russia and Ukraine, which could result in a halt to exports from the Black Sea region. For its part, corn closed in positive territory also driven by concerns about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Finally, soybeans concluded the round with increases. Although prices adjusted upwards due to the tension between Russia and Ukraine, prospects for good harvests in Brazil limit increases.
