At the close of a new round of operations, the activity in the local market was similar in general terms to that exhibited on Monday, again without sighting open offers for the purchase of wheat. For its part, the corn market had a marginal increase in the number of buyers, while purchase proposals remained mostly stable, with the exception of a one-off increase. As for soybeans, we had purchase offers that adjusted slightly compared to the previous round, although the good dynamism was sustained thanks to a significant presence of market participants. Finally, both sorghum and sunflower did not register changes in their prices. In the Chicago market, the futures of the main agricultural commodities closed the day in mixed terrain. Wheat ended with a mixed balance adjusting losses in its furthest contracts due to some signs that China would ease its restrictions to curb the rise in COVID-19 cases, added to the robust flow of exports from the Black Sea.
