I wrote – Dina Khaled: The prices of bell peppers, hot peppers, greenhouse cucumbers, and girlish grape leaves decreased, during today's trading, Wednesday, compared to their levels yesterday, in the transit market for wholesale trade, and on the other hand, the prices of municipal beans and eggplant increased. Masrawy monitors the prices of a number of the most prominent varieties of vegetables and fruits per kilo in the Obour Market during today’s trading, according to the Obour Market website. Tomatoes range from 2.5 pounds to 4 pounds. Potatoes range from 4.25 to 5.75 pounds. Onions range between 9 and 13 pounds. Zucchini between 6 and 9 pounds. Beans range from 12 to 16 pounds, up by two pounds. Local eggplant ranges between 6 and 9 pounds, with an increase of one pound. Bell peppers between 5 and 8 pounds, down a pound.
