Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Cooperative delivers 200 million won in relief funds to overcome damages from extreme rainfall.

[Reporter Lee Jang-hee, Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (General Director Eom Beom-sik) held a 'donation ceremony for extreme rainfall disaster support' at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of the Korean Red Cross on October 29, extending support to affected farmers and local communities. The ceremony was attended by General Director Eom Beom-sik of the Gyeonggi Agricultural Cooperative and Chairman Lee Jae-jung of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of the Korean Red Cross, along with other related officials. The Gyeonggi Agricultural Cooperative presented the funds raised by its employees and officials to support the swift recovery of the affected farmers and the reconstruction of the local community. Director Eom stated, "In order to help the farmers and residents who suffered significant damage from the unexpected heavy rains quickly restore their livelihoods, the Agricultural Cooperative is stepping forward to provide support."
