The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has forecasted a significant increase in the country's hazelnut harvest for 2022, estimating it to reach 765 thousand tons, marking an 11.8% increase from the previous year's harvest of 684,000 tons. This projection is in agreement with the expectations of the Ministry of Agriculture and the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council-INC, which also anticipated a growth in Turkey's hazelnut production to 765 thousand tons and 760 thousand tons, respectively.
