Vietnamese rice occupies a place in the Canadian market

According to statistics from the Canadian border trade agency, from 2018 to 2022, after the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) officially came into effect, Vietnam’s rice exports increased by more than 60%, reaching nearly US$9.5 million. In the first half of 2023 alone, Vietnam's rice exports increased by more than 35% year-on-year, with trade volume exceeding US$6 million.
