Ukraine supplies grain to more than 130 countries around the world. Quality requirements can change and this contributes to the emergence of new export opportunities. The head of the State Food and Consumer Service Vladislav Magaletskaya told USM about this. She explained that each country puts forward its own requirements for grain quality, which are not something static and can change, depending on prices in the world market, available reserves, trade conflicts and competition, and even climate change. International food trade is a complex mechanism in which the established grain quality standard itself sometimes does not play an exclusive role.
