Last week, wheat prices rose sharply in a number of regions of Russia, according to the monitoring of the ProZerno company. Vladimir Petrichenko, the company's general director, told Interfax that serious price shifts occurred due to the introduction in June of a new base price for calculating the export duty on wheat - 17,000 rubles against 15,000 rubles per ton earlier. However, according to him, this process has not yet reached individual regions. According to the monitoring, prices for wheat of the 3rd class increased the most in the Urals - by 700 rubles, to 12,267 rubles per ton (EXW European Russia, with VAT). In the south, the growth amounted to 385 rubles, up to 13,700 rubles, in Siberia - 200 rubles, up to 11,383 rubles. At the same time, prices in the center fell by 485 rubles to 11,050 rubles per ton.
