According to the monitoring conducted by IA "APK-Inform", in December 2021 Ukraine reduced the export of basic grain crops by seaports by 14.1% compared to November from 6.8 to 5.8 million tons. In particular, wheat exports decreased by 1.9 times compared to November to 1.2 million tons, and in total in the season reached 16.6 million tons or 69% of the projected 24 million tons. Corn exports in December increased by 8.5% compared to November to 4.4 million tons, and in the season amounted to 13.7 million tons or 42% of the projected 33 million tons. Exports of barley decreased 1.9 times to 0.24 million tons, and in total in the season amounted to 5.4 million tons or 90% of the projected 6 million tons. The main buyer of domestic wheat in December was Turkey, where 197.4 thousand tons were shipped, and corn - China, where 1.5 million tons or 34.6% of the total volume of corn exported from Ukraine in December was shipped.
