The inflation rate in Kazakhstan in September of this year amounted to 11.8% in annual terms, decreasing compared to August 2023, when it was 13.1%. This was reported by the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan. "Inflation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in September 2023 slowed down over the year and amounted to 11.8%. Prices for food products over the year increased by 11.4%, for non-food products - by 12.1%, for paid services - by 11.9 %," the message says. It was noted that the largest contribution to the annual inflation rate was made by food and non-alcoholic drinks, housing services, clothing and footwear.
