In the first quarter of 2023/24 MY, Ukraine exported grain by 2 million tons less than last year

According to operational data from the State Customs Service, as of September 29, since the beginning of the 2023/24 MY, Ukraine has exported 6.538 million tons of grains and legumes, of which 1.951 million tons were shipped this month, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.
Moreover, as of September 30 last year, the total shipments amounted to 8.576 million tons, incl. in September 4.278 million tons. By crop, since the beginning of the current season the following have been exported: - wheat – 3.253 million tons (in 2022/23 MY – 3.005 million tons); - barley – 613 thousand tons (762 thousand tons); - rye – 0.7 thousand tons (3.9 thousand tons); - corn – 2.649 million tons (4.777 million tons).
