The article reports a decrease in average prices for a variety of food items in the Volgograd region, including fruits and vegetables such as beets, bananas, apples, cucumbers, and carrots, as well as meat, dairy, and other food products like eggs, margarine, cookies, and oil. Specific price reductions range from 0.2% to 5.2%. However, prices for some items like white cabbage, tomatoes, canned fruit and berries for baby food, half-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, boiled sausage, sour cream, hard and soft rennet cheeses, dry milk mixtures for baby food, bread made from rye and rye-wheat flour, polished rice, millet, buckwheat, vermicelli, frozen whole fish, granulated sugar, black long tea, and salt remained unchanged or increased slightly. The price changes were tracked from July 23 to July 29 by the Volgograd branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Agroanalytics Center."
