The current context of high prices for dairy products is going to be linked to a slow evolution of production in the main exporting basins of the world, according to the assessment of the dairy interprofession CNIEL. In the last 12 months, milk production has decreased in the United States and the European Union by around 0.5% and has shown a quite marked drop, greater than 4%, in New Zealand. In the case of France, milk deliveries have fallen by 1.6% since the beginning of the year as a result of the increase in costs, which have increased by more than 20% in one year, according to the price index for the purchase of means of agricultural production.
