The cultivation work includes the fruit trees of such species as apple, plum, cherry and sweet cherry trees; vegetative rootstocks for apple trees, as well as berry plants, such as black currant, gooseberry, raspberry, strawberry, strawberry and highbush blueberry (research program from January 2021). The breeder's (owner) consent of the legally protected variety is required for the propagation and sale of nursery material of a variety protected by an exclusive variety right. For varieties protected only in Poland, the exclusive right to a variety is granted by an administrative decision by the Director of the Central Research Center for Cultivar Testing (COBORU) in Słupia Wielka near Poznań, by entering them into the COBORU Book of Exclusive Rights Protection.
