The GAP certification system is a system that focuses on managing hazardous factors such as pesticides, heavy metals, and microorganisms throughout all stages from agricultural product production to post-harvest processing and packaging.
Interested farmers can apply at their local administrative welfare center.
Support will proceed on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
A city official said, "As consumer expectations for quality and safety continue to rise daily, expanding GAP certification is absolutely necessary to protect our agriculture."
