On the 20th, South Jeolla Province Governor Kim Young-rok visited a flatfish farm in Wando-gun, which was damaged by high temperatures, inspected the damage and listened to the difficulties faced by fishermen. In the Wando sea area, the special advisory has been maintained for more than 30 days, starting with a high temperature warning on August 14, and deaths of aquaculture organisms, presumed to be due to high temperatures, continue to occur. The limiting water temperature for aquaculture organisms, where death occurs most, is 27°C for bandits, 28°C for rockfish, and 29°C for rockfish. As of today, 30 fish and 408,000 fish have been reported damaged in the Wando area, and the amount of damage amounts to 3.11 billion won. Among these, flounder is the largest at 272,000.
