(Muan=Yonhap News) Reporter Hyeong Min-woo = On the 29th, Jeonnam Province held a working agreement at the provincial government office with Japan's Sevia, an agricultural company, and Tamjin Ltd. to strengthen cooperation for the global export of agricultural products from AI smart farms.
According to the agreement, Sevia will expand the distribution channels for Jeonnam agricultural products using its distribution network in Japan, while Tamjin Ltd. will be responsible for the production and supply of agricultural products through AI smart agriculture infrastructure.
Jeonnam Province is building a foundation for future agriculture by promoting projects such as the construction of smart greenhouses and livestock complexes, and innovation in agricultural product processing and distribution. With this agreement, the stable production and export of Jeonnam smart farm agricultural products and the strengthening of the global cooperation system are expected to be fully implemented.
Vice Governor Kang said, "Through this agreement, we have opened a new future for Jeonnam agriculture and the path to pioneering the global market" and "We will support Jeonnam agricultural products to compete in the global market by integrating AI and smart agriculture technology."
