According to the results of January-July of this year, 3.3 million tons of wheat and meslin worth 1 billion US dollars were exported from Kazakhstan. Growth in physical terms amounted to 3.2%, in monetary terms — 40.4%. Most of the products were sent to the CIS countries: 2.3 million tons - 3% more than a year earlier. The largest volumes were exported to Uzbekistan (1.5 million tons), Tajikistan (416 thousand tons) and Turkmenistan (217.9 thousand tons). 1 million tons of wheat was sent to other countries of the world that are not part of the CIS, which is 3.6% more than a year earlier. Here Iran became the leader - 458.9 thousand tons, annual growth - by 34.2%. The top 3 countries also included Afghanistan (267.3 thousand tons) and Italy (151.2 thousand tons).
