During the 2024-2025 agricultural year, Kazakhstan emerged as the leading exporter of durum wheat to the European Union, significantly increasing its exports by 68.5% to 19 thousand tons, compared to the previous year. This places Kazakhstan ahead of Turkey and Canada in the EU durum wheat market. Meanwhile, Ukraine has assumed a prominent role as a supplier of various grains and processed products to the EU, including soft wheat, barley, corn, sorghum, oats, flour, and malt.
