Live hog price today in the North is the lowest at 57,000 VND/kg According to the survey, live hog price in the North decreased by 1,000 VND/kg. After reducing 1,000 VND/kg, live pigs in localities including Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam were purchased for 57,000 VND/kg. Hung Yen province adjusted the transaction level down 1,000 VND/kg to 58,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities remained flat. Live hog price today in the North is in the range of 57,000 - 59,000 VND/kg. Although there are many advantages for development, the total number of cattle and farms in Thai Nguyen province is still decreasing compared to previous years, according to Thai Nguyen newspaper. By the end of 2022, the province has a total herd of about 90,000 buffaloes and cows; pig herd about 610,000 heads; poultry flocks of nearly 16 million heads.
