Between January and June of 2024, Ukraine's import of live poultry remained steady at 2,000 tons, equal to the previous year, according to the State Customs Service. Despite this, the cost of these imports rose by 9.8% to $38.2 million, reflecting higher prices per ton. The main suppliers of poultry were Germany, Hungary, and Poland, contributing 27.6%, 26.1%, and 23.8% of imports, respectively.
